Application Lead  (Children & Adult Social Care Systems)
Salary: Grade I/J - £38,883 - £49,827 per annum
Full-time, 36 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)
Based in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Application Lead (Mosaic) to be the technical expert for application support and management of the Mosaic Social Care systems and related applications for Kingston and Sutton.


The Application Lead role reports directly to the Application Manager and is responsible for

the provision of application support, management, and development services, either directly

to users of the systems or to service delivery functions.


The Main Purpose is to:


●        Manage a team of Application Analysts providing the necessary specialist development and support expertise for the designated applications.

●        Liaise with other IT teams as necessary to ensure appropriate technical input/advice to the development and support of these applications and be the subject matter expert in regards to the Mosaic application.

●        Manage supplier relationships effectively to ensure appropriate input from current application suppliers for the delivery of new functionality, provision of effective support and resolution of any delivery/support issues.

●        Develop and enact appropriate formal controls for all application development and maintenance activities.

●        You will be expected to use your knowledge of user needs and business goals and processes to frame solutions and set priorities for your delivery team.


This is your chance to play a key technical role in the ongoing system development and improvement of Mosaic and make an important contribution to several ongoing projects being undertaken by the adults and children’s departments.


You will be a motivated individual looking to make the next step in your IT career with a proven track record of development and administration using the Mosaic Social Care system, and you will have the technical development skills to achieve this using SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle) and scripting (for example JavaScript) to develop forms and workflows.
