About the role

Are you a qualified Social Worker who is retired or looking for new opportunities? 

We urgently need unemployed qualified Social Workers, retired Social Workers and other social care workers to help with the support,  assessment and care planning of those with physical disabilities, the elderly, vulnerable adults and people with mental health needs. 

Please also contact us if you have a health background with a clinical qualification i.e Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Paramedics, we will have a role for you.

The main responsibilities of the post will be:

  • To carry a caseload including those where there are high levels of risk.

  • To undertake Safeguarding investigations and attend case conferences on occasions.

  • To be responsible for undertaking and supporting a range of of customers with non-complex needs under manager supervision. 

  • To be responsible for accepting referrals, undertaking and where required, providing information and advice and carrying out initial assessments.

  • To undertake reviews of customers with , level needs as required and within statutory timelines and carry out re-assessments as required.
