Business Support Officer - ASC Covid-19 response
Grade D/E - £21,591 - £25,809 per annum
Full-time - 36 hours per week
6 month secondment/ fixed term contract

About the role
A Business Support Officer brings together many of the day to day support functions including inbox management, meeting coordination, data collection, data entry and monitoring. We are currently in need of an extra pair of hands to help coordinate the extra Covid19 responsibilities we have as well as our normal statutory returns. The role requires demonstrable experience of working as part of a team but also someone who is proactive and uses their own initiative.

The Business Support Officer - ASC Covid19 response role, which sits in the ASC Orange team (business support function) pays particular focus to the following:
  • Inbox management - providing good customer service, dealing with queries, liaising with colleagues to solve queries and source correct information
  • Data collection & input - there are a number of internal trackers that monitor different aspects of the care market, working closely with NHS CCG colleagues and providers it is vital these trackers and kept up to date and monitored daily
  • Meeting support - occasionally supporting project or management meetings, taking notes, sending agendas, issuing diary invites. Sometimes the same will need to happen for workshops and provider forums
  • Project support - supporting workstream leads, sourcing information, keeping track of deadlines and actions
  • Communication - liaising with colleagues, partners and providers via email and telephone.
As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Adult Social Care Commissioning service needs to engage with providers frequently, monitor and track a range of Covid related measures (such as infection control) within the Kingston care market. There will be an opportunity to help coordinate and attend provider forums, build and develop your networks with internal colleagues and partners and support senior management - this role is great exposure into ASC and a chance to help the community during the pandemic.
