Grade H - £33,291 - £37,842 per annum
1 x fixed-term post for 12 months and 1 x fixed-term maternity cover for 12 months
Full-time posts but part-time and job share arrangements will be considered
Location - Post holders will be required to work across Kingston and Sutton Councils

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive People and Organisational Development (OD) Shared Service that focuses on our customers’ needs across Kingston Council, Sutton Council and our traded services. About the roles
We’re recruiting for two Data, Insight and Workforce Analysts to join our new Digital and Data Team. In these roles you’ll be responsible for proactively managing business intelligence and workforce information for Kingston and Sutton Councils and our traded services customers.

Your role will involve reporting, interpreting, presenting and communicating detailed information that supports performance improvement and service delivery to a range of stakeholders including our senior leadership teams. You’ll do this by using statistical analysis in conjunction with research and business intelligence to enable our customers to make fully informed decisions, supporting the strategic direction of Kingston and Sutton Councils and our traded services.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating local authority mandatory data submissions and statutory returns to the DfE, LGA, Office of National Statistics and other government departments.

About you
We’re looking for people who will question and challenge our ways of working, demonstrate innovation and creativity, can work successfully with key stakeholders and customers within and outside of the Council through effective communication. You’ll also be able to demonstrate a commitment to your own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.

You’ll be a data, systems and reporting expert with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and manipulate data where required to make recommendations from various data sources. Key to these roles is the presentation of management information to a number of stakeholders, you’ll therefore have significant experience in preparing and presenting complex data in a variety of different formats.
